Privacy Policy

Crewnicle is run by TASVE. This page explains what information we collect when you use Crewnicle, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and the name you sign up with. If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address and profile photo with us. We do not get your Google password or access to your Gmail, Drive or contacts.
• What you add: crews you create or join, stories, photos, chat messages, reactions, and the profile details you choose to fill in (such as home city).
• Basic technical data: login cookies that keep you signed in, and standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) used to keep the service secure.

Photos are resized in your browser and their location (GPS) data is removed before upload.

How we use it

• To create your account and sign you in.
• To show your crews, stories, photos and chat to the people you share them with.
• To keep the service safe, fix problems and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see your content

• Private crews: only members of the crew.
• Public crews: anyone can see the crew page and stories marked public. Chat is always members-only.
• Time capsules: only you, until the date you chose.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase (database, login and photo storage) in their Mumbai, India region. The website is served by Vercel. Google provides “Continue with Google” sign-in. These providers process data only to run the service for us.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and content while your account is active. When you delete a story, its photos and details are removed. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile and the content you posted, except where the law requires us to keep something.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account, by emailing varunkandukuri776@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days. You can also raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

Age

Crewnicle is for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
